Dear Wolf Pack Family,

As we approach the end of the spring semester, we are at the point where much work has been done, with much more still to be finished over the course of the next several days. Our goal for every semester is for The Wolf Pack Family to thrive and succeed. I want you to know that as we reach Prep Day on Wednesday, the members of the campus community have all done a wonderful job in working together, supporting one another and celebrating the successes of everyone throughout our entire academic year. In addition, one of the most beautiful manifestations of this effort at this time of year is the splendor of our campus made possible by the Facilities team.

Prep Day is a reminder that with all the amazing work that has been accomplished, we are not to the end of the semester just yet – although it is enticingly close. Whether it is completing a team project, preparing for final examinations, applying that final bit of rigor, determination and polish required for a successful dissertation, or the culmination of research projects, we all should be cognizant and supportive of the work that is ongoing on our campus.

The final stretch applies to faculty and staff as well. There are deadlines and commitments that the faculty and staff have had clearly marked on their calendars for quite some time. The coming days mean final meetings and preparations for what is still to come, as well as to focus on the outstanding contributions that the Wolf Pack faculty and staff always make in furthering our institutional mission. I am grateful for the professionalism and commitment of faculty and staff to our students and University.

Prep Day is a time of preparation, certainly, and it is also a self-reflective realization that there are others just like us who face the same deadlines and commitments. This is a reminder to us all that we are never in these endeavors alone. I hope you all study and prepare well, and that you also support one another for the common goal of ending the semester’s work on the highest of notes.

I wish you all great success as we near the end of our semester.

Go Pack!

Sincere regards,

Brian Sandoval
President
