The Nevada System of Higher Education (NSHE) has asked for you to share your perspectives and thoughts as they work to build their strategic plan for the future of NSHE.

February 8, 2022

Dear Wolf Pack Family,

As we are well into the spring semester, I would like to thank you for your commitment and dedication to our students. Your work, sense of collaboration and the personal resilience and adaptability you’ve demonstrated during this time has been exceptional. As we take a moment to reflect, I would also like to share with you an important opportunity that will help us all envision what the future of higher education in Nevada might look like.

The Nevada System of Higher Education (NSHE), Chancellor Melody Rose and Chair Pro Tempore Carol Del Carlo have asked for assistance from the Wolf Pack Family. They have asked for you to share your perspectives and thoughts as they work to build their strategic plan for the future of NSHE. This plan will lay the foundation for the next decade of NSHE’s important work in our state, and this planning process provides an exciting opportunity for innovation, sustainment and investment.

Chancellor Rose, Chair Pro Tempore Del Carlo and members of NSHE will be on our campus for a NSHE Strategic Planning Listening Session on Tuesday, Feb. 15 from 9:30 to 11 a.m. in the JCSU Theatre. To attend,  [External form link]. Additional details will follow upon registration.

As we work on our 2022-27 Strategic Plan for our University, this is another unique opportunity to shape the future of NSHE, and our University. I look forward to seeing you there.

Go Pack!

Sincere regards,

Brian Sandoval
President
