Recovering from COVID-19 in the residence halls

What happens if you are living in a residence hall and you find out that you have tested positive for COVID-19?

If possible, the best solution is to leave campus and self-isolate at home, where you can be more comfortable.

If this is not possible, there have been designated quarantine or isolation rooms set aside in a specific residence hall so that you can complete your time of isolation or quarantine.

If you are undergoing a period of isolation in the residence hall, please be assured that we will be checking on you on a daily basis to make sure that your needs are met.
Arrangements will be made for food delivery. You will have daily phone calls with
your residence hall staff. And if you are having additional symptoms, you will certainly be contacted by the Student Health Center.

It's also important for you to contact your faculty members if you are undergoing a period of isolation or quarantine, so that alternative arrangements can be made for you to continue your academic studies.

I hope you have a wonderful, happy, safe and healthy semester.
